IdeaPaint Pop-Up at NeoCon 2016

Studio O+A founder Primo Orpilla created a line of mobile writeable surfaces for IdeaPaint who then approached us to design a pop-up space and a booth for them to display their products at NeoCon 2016 in Chicago. IdeaPaint also teamed up with Happier Camper to create mobile meeting spaces.

The concept of the boundless workplace became the concept for these displays. I served as the branding and graphics member working with two teammates responsible for the furniture and space design.

To visualize the idea of Boundless, I created architectural illustrations showing different settings where the IdeaPaint/Happier Camper ecosystem could live. I also created a pattern inspired by topographic maps to further reinforce the concept and create a focal point within the building while anchoring the pop-up space.

The client asked for an interesting takeaway that was different from the typical branded swag at most trade shows. To fulfill this I designed a series of nine tear-away posters, each with a letter out of the word 'Boundless' and with a continuous landscape ranging from mountains, to desert buttes, to an city skyline. The posters include isometric illustrations of Primo's writeable surfaces and branding from IdeaPaint.
